We are thrilled to announce that the application window is now open for admission to the CSCD Youth Academy Fall Semester of 2024!

After three successful years and 5 semesters with no less than 29 embassy visits to 28 unique countries, we continue the exclusive journey through diplomacy and invite you to a brand-new semester with five unique and exciting embassy visits!

This semester, the Youth Academy facilitates five brand new and exclusive embassy visits in Copenhagen, in close collaboration with selected student organisations and CSCD, to present you with unique meetings, one-on-one conversations with prominent ambassadors, and meetings with diplomats, politicians, and researchers.

As a student you get to meet like-minded people, while we invite you to the front row of diplomacy and an opportunity for rare direct hands-on experience in diplomatic and international relations. This gives you a fantastic supplement to the more theoretical knowledge from university.

The fall semester runs from mid-August to mid-October, and to be accepted, we kindly ask you to write a motivated application letter of 400-500 words, no later than the application deadline of August 11th, 2024.

Both students and young professionals can apply and we urge everyone, both Danish and International students to apply.

Participants in previous semesters of the CSCD Youth Academy describe their experience as follows:

“CSCD grants ambitious students unique insights and connections to the world of diplomacy. Amidst global disorder and seemingly endless conflicts, the program offers valuable skills which suit aspirants to understand the roots of misunderstanding between governments. I can confidently recommend CSCD Youth Academy to students who aspire to navigate the world of diplomacy.”

Asbjørn Woetmann Pedersen, Political Science @ University of Copenhagen.

“I have not only achieved a deeper understanding of diplomatic relations, I have also improved my ability to network, and had use of my foreign language skills. CSCD Youth Academy is a privilege for ambitious students, allowing them to explore different cultures while getting to know other participants with similar aspirations. Besides the inspiring embassy visits, CSCD offers extracurricular events, where students have the opportunity to engage even more in the Academy. My future career plans are positively affected by what I have learned.”

Astrid Sloth Larsen, Political Science @ University of Copenhagen.
