Galina Mikkelsen is enrolled as a Political Science student at the University of Copenhagen, Department of Political Science. During her studies she has focused on Danish Foreign Affairs and her further specialization is planned to be in International Relations and Conflict Resolution.

To enhance her knowledge of diplomatic relations she is planning to enroll as an intern at the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its global representation. She has extensive knowledge in connection with Danish policy-making and administrative flair achieved through her work as a student assistant in the Danish public sector institutions.  

Her journey in CSCD began as a member of the CSCD Youth Academy, followed by being appointed by the CSCD Board as a “CSCD Honorary Youth Ambassador”. After distinguished efforts serving as Youth Ambassador, Galina has been promoted to “CSCD Youth Academy Project Coordinator”, to serve the academy and fulfill its goals.
