Dr. Zhao Hong, PhD. in management, is currently Dean of Sino-Danish College (SDC) of University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS). Her CSCD activities are geographically focused on China, Denmark and the Netherlands.

SDC is the world renounced flagship of Science Diplomacy collaboration that was established between China and Denmark in 2009. Besides being the SDC Dean Prof. Zhao is also Professor and PhD supervisor at the School of Economics and Management, UCAS and SDC, the Secretary-General of Education Foundation of University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chief Member of Teaching and Academic Committee of UCAS and the Director of Research Center for Enterprise Management of UCAS and Principal Coordinator of Social Science of Sino-Danish Educational and Research Center.

Prof. Zhao is the Executive Council Member and Academic Committee Member of China Association for Quality, as well as the Member of Standing Committee of Emergency Management Committee of Chinese Society for Overall Planning and Optimization.

Since her returning to China from the UK in 1998, Prof. Zhao has mainly engaged in research and teaching on marketing management, strategic management, and business model innovation.

She has been in charge of several academic and enterprise projects, such as international cooperation project, World Bank project, National Natural Science Foundation project, National Social Science Fund project, National Soft Science Fund project and others.

In recent years, Prof. Zhao has published more than 70 papers in journals and conference proceedings in China and abroad, as well as about 10 monographs and textbooks.
