Dr. Amorós is Professor at Tecnologie de Monterrey University in Mexico. His CSCD activities are geographically focused on Latin America, South America and in particular Mexico and Chile, the EU in particular Germany, Spain.
He is the National Director of doctoral programs and co-leader of the strategic research group in entrepreneurship and innovation at EGADE Business School, Tecnologico de Monterrey, México.
Dr. Amorós is an expert on entrepreneurship and new business development and has written over 40 academic articles and co-authored more than 30 monographs on entrepreneurial dynamics, some of them in cooperation with important institutions such as the World Economic Forum.
He is visiting professor at several Latin American and European universities.
Dr. Amorós has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor, GEM project. In his work within the GEM , he has participated in the evaluation of public policies pro-entrepreneurship in different countries collaborating with institutions like the World Institute for Development Economics Research of the United Nations University (UNU-WIDER), the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the World Bank among others.
