Dr. Denise Marques is a researcher at the João Pinheiro Foundation in the state of Minas Gerais/ Brazil. Her CSCD activities are geographically focused on Brazil and neighboring countries.
Science Diplomacy shines through her professional career through cooperation and strengthening of collaboration between state and national public institutions and international institutions, regarding applied research in the areas of demography, human development, sustainable development, basic sanitation and housing.
Her research carries out activities of coordination and optimization of institutional networks, exchange of methodological knowledge for the collection of data, calculation of indicators, preparation of reports and studies of common interest to the parties.
In addition, she carries out actions that seek to stimulate research and technical discussions about data collection, the composition of indexes and indicators and the elaboration of social, economic and environmental analyzes.
