August Wiese is currently pursuing an MS in Geology-Geoscience at the University of Copenhagen (KU). 

During his studies, August discovered how diplomacy and international relations are vital to the ability of organizations, countries, and people to make progress within the natural sciences, create new methods and solutions for tackling the question of climate change, and establish cross-border cooperations that allow for faster, more effective responses to potential complications. 

August strives to combine the natural sciences and the field of diplomacy to promote exchanging of ideas and technologies between cultures, countries, and people. 

His journey in CSCD began as a member of the CSCD Youth Academy, followed by being appointed by the CSCD Board as a “CSCD Honorary Youth Ambassador”. After distinguished efforts serving as Youth Ambassador, August has been promoted to “CSCD Youth Academy Project Coordinator”, to serve the academy and fulfill its goals.
